I have been using this shop for 3 years now, and the same mechanics are always there; Billy, Mark, Verol, Richard, Dick, Al; Billy has worked there for 15 years. They remember my name and have my car looked up on the computer by the time I walk in the door. They are very competent, honest, and friendly. They answer all my questions and even show me on the car what they find and how it needs to be fixed. If they can't fix the problem, they tell the customer right up front. If there are alternatives to fixing the problem at the moment, they tell the customer what it is, and how long the temporary fix will last until the real fix has to be done. As customers walk in the door they are greeted by name, unless it is a first- timer. This shop is also part of a Texaco gas station. I don't know why I waited so long to go there; I've known it was there for such a long time. I have lived at the same address in Richardson for 34 years and I'm just a mile and a half from this shop. This is an "old fashioned" service shop - hard to find now-a-days -in a large city. I will continue to go there and I recommend it to my friends.

I have been trading here since 1983. No complaints. Everybody is polite and/or friendly. I just discovered this database, and Marino's deserves to be on the 'A' list. Of course it is less than a mile from my house. I remember when the service manager (Billy) was in high school pumping gas here.

I am so impressed by this shop. If I ever have a problem again, I will head straight to the Texaco on the southwest corner of Beltline and Jupiter. I feel as though they were honest with me, when they could have said that the problem was far larger than it was. This is the best shop I have ever come across, with the exception of my pop's (out of the garage). I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of auto repair. FYI- I got the referral from this site and they completely lived up to my expectations.
