This place was recommended to me by my plumber. I get the feeling this garage can fix anyboy's old car so that it runs forever. The owner is as honest as they come. When you pick up your car he opens the hood and points to exactly what they fixed. The bill is so low you have to sit down to believe it. White Rock Automotive works on all makes and models - except British cars! We have recommended this place to everyone with car problems and receive rave reviews in return. I once asked the owner why there are so many incompetent mechanics working in other places. He said those were the ones he had fired over the years.

These guys are the best. They don't do Volkswagens though.

We began using this shop in 1975 when Tom was the owner/lead mechanic. We are still using them now that Tom's son, Mark has taken over the shop. Mark tells me that we are the #3 longest-term customer they have, but that #'s 1 & 2 are in poor health. The prices are not cheap, but reasonable. Only needed repairs are done. On ocassion, my wife will bring her car in with a "noise." Sometimes a repair is appropriate; sometimes, Mark will say, it's nothing to worry about, no charge. Mark sprinkles his conversation with explitives, so don't be surprised.
