Paul and I brought in his 94 Eagle Talon 120,000 miles due to having very little control of the steering. His father's Eagle had his steering column and his friend who also drives an Eagle also had his replaced. SO we concluded it was most likely the steering column that needed to be replaced. We figured it would be about $1000.00. So we said this was the acceptable amount if it was over that to call us. When we went to pick it up(3 hours later)the bill was $7.50. It was a tire that was having a slow leak! For that $7.50 they fixed the tire, and rotated the tires. We were so shocked, even though they knew we would have spent up to $1000.00 they still only charged us the $7.50. That includes diagnosing it not being the front end or the steering column (which sometimes the diagnosing can be more expensive than the repair!). Robin's response was "We feel our honesty will bring you back, so we only charge you for what we do". I couln't agree more. He has two new loyal customers, plus anyone we talk to or who needs a good, honest mechanic that reads this!
