I was referred to this shop by a friend and decided to try it out when my GMC Suburban was making a strange sound in the rear-end. I had had this vehicle over at the GMC dealer several times for the same noise. They said everything was fine and that I was just hearing road noise. I knew better because the vehicle began "vibrating" at about 70 mph when I accelerated. I described the sound and vibration to John and he asked me to drive the vehicle while he sat in the back. Within 5 minutes he said that he knew what it was and repaired the bad bearing. I haven't had the problem since (approximately 30,000 miles). I have since taken my other vehicles to him, one of which is a 1989 Jaguar XJ6. Although he prefers not to work on the Jag he does and has always been able to repair the problem at half the price and frustration I have experienced at Momentum Motors.
