Dearing is one of the few places around Dallas-Fort Worth that will not try to take advantage of you. They are completely trustworthy and do good work. As a single female who knows pretty much nothing about cars, I am very thankful to have a shop like this around. They work on American and foreign cars.

They reccomended a towing service when I couldn't get National to answer a phone, and while I had it towed in on Friday and they didn't get it done until Wednesday, that was what they told me up front.

I received estimates of $600 <> $200 to fix an oil leak. Mr. Dearing charged $35. They said it was an oilpan problem. He found an oil pressure sensor leaking badly. They said it would cost $100 per axle to do a brake pad replacement with semi-metallic pads. He charged $60 for Ceramic disc pads. They said I'd have to leave the car overnight. He made an anppointment and finished the work on time. They were closer to Shysters than mechanics. He more neighbor than business man. He is short on talk and long on service. They are long on talk and devoid of service.

I have been bringing my cars' tough problems to Dearing for 10 years. They have always fixed it and at very reasonable prices. American and Japanese. Scheduled work is finished on time. Emergencies (i.e. no previous appointment) may take a few days for them to get to it. Older cars will take time to track down parts.
