My wife and I were on a trip from Las Cruces NM to Grandbury Tx in a class C motorhome mounted in a Ford E350 pulling a Saturn L300 to attend my mother's funeral. About 30 miles from Grandbury we ran into rain soo thick it felt like we were underwater. We slowed to a crawl but I kept it moving because we were being pelted by hail and the wind started swirling indicating a possible tornado. We finially came out of the rain and at the next town the turn signals indicated trouble. I checked my front tires because the steering had started to shimmy and found a chunk missing all the way to the cord. We got to my daughter,s house and had to leave the engine running (15 min) for the air conditioner because of the heat and humidity and dogs in the coach. The Aux. generator was also not running well. After a while we got back in but the headlights did not work. Tom Myers was reccomended by my daughter's next door neighbor. We called the next morning with all this stuff and our sob story. His wife gladly told us to come on down and they would see what they could do. They kept it overnight, replaced the battery, mounted two brand new tires and check frontend alinement. When we picked it up the next day everything was repaired and in order. On the way out to the rig after paying him, I mentioned the generator and Tom said lets go look at it. I might add that they do not claim to do generator work. Tom fooled with the elevation setting and the generator started to run just fine. I asked him "how much do I owe" and he said nothing. He also gave me his personel cell number to call if we had trouble within 50 miles. Hows that for service for a complete stranger?
