Allen is a former dealer mechanic who's assisted by a son. He was strongly recommended by friends when I moved to GT 12 years ago. He charges about $100.00 less than a dealer to change a timing belt on a Camry. The one and only time I've ever returned after the problem reoccurred, Allen agreed he made a mistake by using a rebuilt part. I think it was a master brake cylinder. When I picked up the car Allen had put a new (not rebuilt) part at no cost. He said it was his falt for not doing the job correctly the first time. I told him he had a customer for life. I've yet to regret ever paying a bill. Allen works on forign and domestic cars.

Infiniti dealer wanted to charge $1,400 to replace a rail because the driver's seat of my FX35 would not move. I bought the gear from odometergears.com for $65. Gregor Imports replaced the gear in 10 minutes AT NO CHARGE. He said it was "kind of an interesting problem". Obviously, Gregor does not rip off customers. They will be receiving doughnut deliveries.
