I have nothing but praise for Ned and the guys at this shop. I've been run around, cheated and scammed by some mechanics, but not Automotive Innovations. They are totally trustworthy. They were the only ones who could figure out why my '89 Mustang kept stalling when it was warm; and they fixed it on the first try! I've been taking our cars and trucks to them since 1995 and don't have complaint one. They're good people, honest in their dealings, their pricing is fair and their work dependable. And if they have to keep your car overnight, it's always locked up tight.

I had been looking for a new place to take my care for regular maintenance when I had radiator problems, so I took to heart the reviews on this site and chose Automotive Innovations. First, they sent a truck to pick up my car and the tow was very reasonable. I told them I believed the problem was the radiator and that I needed a new battery and alternator (I'd had the battery tested at O'Reilly's earlier that day.) In the end, I needed a new radiator fan, new radiator, a new battery, oil change and some new hose, the work was completed in less than 24 hours, and the total, including the tow, was about $900. And since I had earlier been told I needed a new alternator, they could have done that work as well, but instead told me you can't test the alternator when the battery is bad and that my alternator was fine. I'll go back to them without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone.

I have used these guys for about 10 years. Through two Volvos, a Nissan 240SX , a Mazda 626, and now my Mitsubishi Montero. They have found problems quickly that dealerships couldn't find. True stories: My Volvo was running rough and I dropped it off expecting a $200+ tune up or repair. They called me to tell me all I needed was spark plug wires and that I could install them myself. Another time I dropped my Montero off to get the brakes done and was told that it didn't need brakes yet, they just adjusted them. They installed an A/C system from scatch on my old Volvo from junkyard parts, guaranteed it and fixed it for free when the first compressor failed, total cost:$800. Also my Montero started smoking at 100,000 miles and needed rings They did a complete re-build, the only part that wasn't rebuilt or replaced was the oil pump. They did it in 5 days and charged just under $2000. I highly reccomend these guys for any repair on any car.
