I discovered Lee's Transmissions years ago after getting repeatedly fleeced by a local mechanic who never would completely fix my transmission yet would charge me plenty for each attempt. I drove past Lee's and decided to get a second opinion. Alan Miller, the owner, figured out the problem within minutes and my car was good as new for a fraction of what I had paid the other guy. Alan's ability to diagnose car trouble with a single test drive is comparable to Tolkien's Elvish superpowers. If the problem is simple and requires little or no labor (such as a loose wire), he will tell you straight up. His rates are always more than reasonable and the work has always been flawless. I have had transmission overhauls, routine servicing, and clutch replacement done at Lee's over the years.
