I'm fairly ignorant about cars, but more than once I've taken my cars in to this shop with what sounded like serious problems and David Pursur (the owner of the shop and the supervising mechanicm abd he is always at the shop), has always fixed the problem, and honestly. For example, once my Ford was running extremely rough and for all I knew the engine (with 80,000 miles on it) was ready to give up the ghost. Mr. Pursur located the problem, a loose spark-plug wire, and charged me nothing. I trust him completely. He has worked on all my cars for at least twenty years, and I have finally learned to seek his advice before buying any used car (after I bought a clunker that looked and sounded good, but had serious problems, Mr. Pursur advised me to sell the thing at a loss and to tell the prospective buyer what was wrong with the car as the reason for my selling it so cheaply.) He is an honest man, and knows his cars.

Not only did they fix the problem, but they drove my husband home so he wouldn't have to wait at the shop and then picked him up when the car was ready. The cost of the repair was less than $50; and there was no charge for the transporation. What a deal!

I have been having all my vehicles both personal and business serviced by Purser for at least 10 years. I have always been satisfied and happy with their service.

David is the best mechanic I've ever used. He's fair, he's honest, and he takes excellent care of his customers and their cars. He does not take advantage of women. He will tell you if he can't do the work and send you to someone that he finds reliable. He won't do work unnecessarily. For example, my husband was having some problems with the automatic lights on his car. David looked at him and said something along the lines of, "I can fix it for a lot of money, or you can turn the lights on yourself." It's impossible not to like the guy.
