This guy runs a one-man shop. Does excellent work and is persistent when faced with difficult, hard-to-diagnose problems.

I was stuck in Cameron with a '93 Civic with 350,000 miles that had just died on my way back to West Texas. There were only 2-3 choices for the wrecker to take me to. I looked in the phone book and the name of this place stuck out like a sore thumb, so I decided to take my chances. Best decision I could have made. The owner had owned a couple of Hondas himself (in the middle of pick-up country, that's more amazing than you might think at first) and after only an day and a half, had my war horse ready to roll again at a reasonable price, even throwing in some new spark plugs, etc as a bonus. The guy is a throwback - a one-person operation where it's his butt on the line, so he takes great pride in his work. If you live in the Cameron/Rockdale area or get stuck there like I did, you really should let this guy work on your car.
