James Wilcox of Wilcox Automotive is a great mechanic. He is honest, knowledgable and explains things in terms that even non-mechanically inclined people can understand. He does great work and charges a very fair price. I have sent many friends to him and they have all been very happy with his work. He's my go-to mechanic for anything my car needs beyond routine maintenance. He's very good at diagnostics, will work with me on what repairs need to be done and what do not, giving me all of the information, answering all of my questions, making a recommendation and then letting me make the final decision. His estimates are always right on target with what he charges and less expensive than anywhere else I've been. My only complaint is that he's a little farther from where I live than I would like. But it's worth the drive to get my vehicles fixed by someone I know and trust.
