First let me start by stating that I am a skeptical female, unfamiliar with vehicles and have that fact clearly stamped on my forehead. I have a 1998 Chevy Tracker which I replaced the motor in about a year ago.....that being said, I was in the lane of traffic about 2 months ago and, lo and behold, when I went to accelerate in heavy traffic, she died. Wow, I looked and knew I had gas...had to have it towed, new to the area, and all there was a local garage the tow truck recommended...after 2 days at local garage, the mechanic called and said I needed a new engine. I immediately had this vehicle towed again to another shop recommended by a friend...boy, did it go down hill from there...3 months later and $1000.00 dollars...blown fuse #8 and a new fuel filter, and she still died in traffic right in front of a moving train on the train tracks....I got smart and paid an enormous fee to send it to Brady's in Boerne; it was a financial strain because this shop was 48 miles from where it was located. Justin at the shop placed his hand on my shoulder, put my mind at ease, and the vehicle was repaired in 1 hour. It was after all a a short to ground in the alt. circuit. My thanks and my forever customer loyalty go to this shop and recommend it to any and all women who do not want to be taken advantage of. Please be kind enough to forward this information to all women who have no clue in determining whether or not they are being taken advantage of.
