Rising Sun rocks! I've been taking my Toyotas to them for more than 10 years. They are professional, honest and a pleasure to do business with. A couple of times in my "starving writer" days, Rising Sun was good about telling me what repairs absolutely needed to be done and what I could safely put off for a while. My lack of automotive savvy could make me any easy target for a less scrupulous repair shop, but Rising Sun plays it straight with me - that's why I keep bringing my car back. And for women who might be afraid of contracting testosterone poisoning, Rising Sun's staff treats everybody with respect and dignty. Hey, gals, they even had a copy of Redbook in the waiting room last time I was there!

Welcomed me as a new customer. Did what they said they would and were friendly and open about it. Been in business for over 20 years. Clean and bright shop. Easy to get into. I'll be going back consistently.

The mechanic took time right away to look at my car so that he could give me an estimate of how long it would take, since I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to wait there or go home. When it turned out to be an easy fix, he actually told me how I could fix it on my own. He charged me nothing, and I was back home within an hour. I really thought the problem could have been a number of costly things, and since I am female, I am impressed that they 1) didn't try to pull the wool over my eyes (because they would have probably succeeded had they tried since I was thinking something more serious was wrong), 2) treated me like a competent human being, showing me what to do.

Japanese cars only. Helpful, educated, straightforward. No worrying about whether you're being thrown a curve ball. Nice mags in the waiting room. Easy access, and you can go shop at Sun Harvest, Walmart, Sandy's shoes, or Pumpkin patch while you wait....only half a block from Northcross Mall...or if you're up for a fairly pleasant two block walk you can hit Terra Toys, The Village shopping center...Body Business, Alamo Drafthouse....or they'll take you home to wait if you prefer. Always prompt and courteous. Very clean well organized shop. Eight bays or more.
