I have had a brake job where he showed me how much wear there was and told that I still had about 60 k on the front brakes, replacement part on one rear wheel and machining of the other part Cost-$107. Replaced rear window raiser at $120 less than one replaced on my wife's BMW by the BMW garage. On my current Merc (1998), he checked out the reason for a dash light alarm and replaced an ignition coil and all eight plugs w/ platinum points for $179,91. The Lin-Merc garage charged me $75 for "analyzing" the reason for the light and wanted about $400 for repairs and parts. He has done about three other repair jobs, fast, effectively and at a low price
