Mark is a great mechanic, he is very honest and dependable. I don't mind paying a little more for repair work because I trust him, and you can't put a price on that. He also one of the only mechanics I've found who doesn't assume I don't know about cars because I'm a female. Last but not least he is a real car lover who seems to really enjoy what he does which seems to make car repair less painful.

Mark is very deliberate in his work and is more than willing to explain what is wrong and what it means. He is very interested in cost/value of the work he does or the advice he gives. He is a solo worker so he might not be available when you need him but he won't hesitate to send you to places he trusts when he is unavailable. For what it's worth, his garage is an old fire hall.

Mark fixed our MG after another large, local "MG expert" shop installed the brakes upside down and tried to tell us we needed $600 of work to fix the still-not-working brakes. Ack! He's great! Through, honest, economical, easy-going and he does most or all of his own work.

Mark has worked on my cars for over 25 years. He is honest, straightforward, responsive, and thorough, sending me on to other reputable places when he can't do the work. He has worked on my Toyotas, Nissans, Hyundais, Saturns. Even when I am on the road and having car trouble, he is available to me on the phone to help me figure out what to do that will be the best value for the least amount of money. If all mechanics were like Mark, there would be only lawyer and car salesman jokes.
