The most important thing to me is that there is absolutely no question about the honesty of the folks at this shop. They have always done what needed to be done and only what needed to be done - even with "open checkbook" authorization to do whatever was needed in addition to the problem which brought the car to their garage. I will not consider taking my vehicles to anyone else.

Took my 242,000 mile '95 Dodge Neon to their shop based on reviews on cartalk.com. They were very upfront with costs to diagnose the vehicle. Upon figuring out what was wrong, they gave me several options based on the value of the vehicle. They did not try and push me to fix it a certain way but were understanding of the worn condition of the car and money it might cost to fix it. They fixed the car to the extent that I could afford and the vehicle's condition warranted. Brian and Brian seemed to be nice guys ready to fix vehicles as you could afford. I would recommend them to other people.

Keith, at Community Garage has worked on my car twice in the past few months. He is very knowledgeable and explains his diagnosis in easy to understand terms. My car was serviced promptly and at a very reasonable price. When he could not duplicate an electrical problem, he did not just "throw parts" at me and run up a big bill. Instead I was given reassurance and logical recommendations. The second time I took my car in, it was fixed quickly and they even glued on a loose insignia! Their shop is kept clean as a whistle and the entire staff is customer friendly as well. I have found an increasingly rare commodity...an honest, respectful, COMPETENT mechanic!

This is the kind of garage that almost makes you look forward to a mechanical failure. I have taken them a Mercury, a Plymouth, two Fords, and an Oldsmobile over the past seven years, and they have always been totally honest and competent in every case, even honest enough to tell me they don't like my favorite make.

I moved to Nashville and looked on this site for a good mechanic, I've never been disappointed. These guys are reliable and they'll tell you the facts with no sugar coating.
