Wally, the mechanic, is one of the few mechanics I've ever felt comfortable enough to leave my car with and not worry that too many of the wrong things would be done when I returned. He is very ethical and if he doesn't feel competent to do some certain job, he will say so and recommend someone he trusts that will do that type of work. I recommend him, regularly, to all as I am doing now.

Good service and exceptionally ethical standards of conduct are the first things that I noticed at this small (three bays, one mechanic) shop. I recently had a customer with car problems so I took them to Citgo Car Care. The mechanic found the problem and detirmined that it was a result of of recent repair. Rather than change a large fee he found a work-around so she could safely get her car home to her usualy mechanic and refused any payment. My customer called me later to thank me and confirm Wally's diagnosis. About a month ago I pulled in with a strange noise under the hood right at closing time so I could get a spot on the calendar(they are usually very busy). Wally stayed well past closing to find and repair two loose bolts between the torque converter and transmission.(Poor asembly work from the factory) I would have been happy with a repair appointment but Wally knew the problem might not wait so he worked late for dinner with his wife to help me. Highly reccomended!

I am very pleased and happy with this service station. Not knowing much about cars and being a female, I felt comfortable and not talked down to. Wally treated me with respect and answered all my questions. He knows his stuff. I would definately bring my car back there. Thanks Car Talk for finding me a great mechanic!

Johnny and Wally are the best. Wally knows his limitations. They have taken an emergency repair of mine when I know they were busy and finished in a timely manner. Wally even fussed at me for not letting him pick me up at work when the repair was finished. I work in walking distance.I will definitely used them again.

My wife and I are both customers of Citgo Auto Care. Wally and Johnny are outstanding individuals who care about their customers and about providing excellent service. We have been dealing with them for over ten years, and Wally has not only worked on my cars and my wife's cars, but also on cars owned by our two children. The work, in every instance, has solved the problem, and the charges have always been reasonable. We could not be happier with the service we have and continue to receive and regularly recommend them to others.

Thank you very much for your Mechanic Files! My son's track bar broke on his way back to college in Cookeville. We looked in your files and found Citgo and all of the reviews. He took his jeep to be repaired and was back on the road in less than a week. The price was reasonable and the service was great.
