I have using the Little family repair shops for thirty years and have never been disappointed with the quality of work.

All our cars have been serviced by Rhea Little since moving to this area over 10 years ago. This has to be the best facility in Brentwood. Just a couple of weeks ago another facility told our son that his car needed plugs and wires, estimated cost $450. I told him to check with Rhea. We rode by together, explained the problem and what the other facility advised. Dan, a mechanic at Rhea Little's, told him that the advice he was given was wrong, why it was wrong, and with no testing or even looking at the vehicle told him it was very likely that the problem was only dirty fuel injectors. He told us was he normally recommended for that problem, and advised it was rather expensive compared to other similar products - but it worked best. He then poured a can of cleaner into the gas tank, and the total charge was ONLY for the cleaner, labor was free. (He wanted to pour it in because it could damage paint, and he felt it best for him to do it.) We paid the $18 plus sales tax, and drove away. Two days later the problem with the car was history. Such is typical. I highly reccomend this shop. They really know what they're doing, but only do what is necessary. If there are options, they tell you the pros and cons of each. And if it is something they really don't do, they tell you - and suggest the appropriate facility for the specific repair - like air-conditioning, which they don't do. They are great!

Several different times, I have brought either our Ford F- 100, Ford Crown Vic and even our Honda Accord in for work not knowing what to expect. I leave my vehicle with Rhea Little, Jr. and his son Rhea III (Little Rhea)with pretty much a blank check to fix what ever is wrong. Without fail, they call to explain what the problems and options are. They always provide an accurate estimate of the final cost and have even refused work they didn't believe was warranted. For example, our '88 Crown Vic developed a knocking and rumbling sound in the engine (after 250,000 miles) and I asked Little Rhea to check it out and tell me what it would cost to rebuild or replace the engine. I was willing to pay him to do the work, but he checked it our and advised (at no cost) that the car needed to be replaced.

I am new to town and went to Little Tire based on this site's reccomendation. I went to schedule some brake work for my '94 Ranger Pickup. Being an engineer for one of the big three auto-makers, so I have high expectations of the people that I let work on my vehicles. When I went into the shop, Mr. Little was attempting to convince an elderly couple that they didn't need a whole new set of tires, but that they just needed to replace a damaged one. They were sure that they needed 4 tires, but Mr. Little, with a lot of patience, convinced them otherwise. Mr. Little could have easily sold them 4 tires and made more money. Little Tire did a great job repairing my truck and actually talked me out of doing some other work that he felt wasn't needed. I highly recommend Little Tire.

My wife and I both have interacted with the wonderful staff at Rhea Little's and they just exude trustworthiness and honesty. They take the time to explain problems until we understand them. If multiple problems exist, they will help you prioritize the repairs to make sure that the vehicle is safe. The last time we had the minivan in the shop, the actual charges we less than what they quoted. I can't recommend this garage highly enough.

I have taken an aging Buick to Rhea Little for three years, and Rhea III has kept it on the road. From major repairs to scheduled maintenance, I have never been overcharged, and on several occasions Rhea has indicated which repairs could wait, instead of running up a larger bill. I regret having moved out of the area, because a good mechanic may be hard to find, but one who is both as competent AND as honest as Rhea is even rarer.

Rhea Little has always treated all of the drivers in our family (that would be 4) respectfully & honestly. We all reccomend them to friends whenever we can. I have never felt as though he was trying to 'swindle' me out of extra cash. He also lets us know if there is another place that would do the work for less!! Totally trust this guy!
