Looked nationwide for a part that was expensive, and found a nice used one for 1/2 the price. They seem to go the extra mile.

I enjoy looking at the variety of cars in their shop. I have taken my cars to Jim since the mid 80s.

This is literally a Mom and Pop (and Beagle) repair shop. They are very friendly, and after you have been there a few times, they will know you by name. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. They do all of my tire work. The only minor down side of this shop is that they are not equipped to do alignments. They will refer you to a local shop for wheel alignments.

This shop fixed the right brake light on our 2005 BMW X5. The brake light had been getting loose in its socket for a few years but we had been able to make it stick with duct tape until recently. We went to our local BMW dealer who said a whole panel that controls the rear light would have to be replaced. Having paid for an expensive repair at the dealer before, we wanted a second opinion. We finally remembered that CarTalk had this site. We found Classic on this web page and read good reviews. They also have the top rating for the Sioux Falls Better Business Bureau. The people at Classic knew exactly what my wife was talking about when she described the problem on the phone. Today she took the car in and they repaired the light bulb socket by soldering some more material on it. Problem solved! No warning messages and brake light works fine. We don't know how much the BMW dealer would have charged, but Classic charged us $21.00! I'm sure we saved a bundle. We'll go to Classic in the future
