Roger and Bob have worked on my Pontiac, Honda Civic and Honda Accord. Roger will go out of his way to get quality used or rebuilt parts to save you a dime. He did brake work on my Accord that cost 70%-75% of what other local shops would charge (40%-50% of what the Honda dealer would charge). He replaced a ball joint on my Pontiac for about 25% what the Pontiac dealer would charge me. It's quality work! One drawback. You have to tell him exactly when you need it done, otherwise it will get pushed to the back burner.

I am a little biased because this is my father. However, we have many differences so if I compliment him it is because he deserves it. The one thing my Roger puts above everything in his life is his job. If he could, he would work 24 hours a day. After I moved to college, I realized just how important a good mechanic is. Roger tries to do too much at once, so he is usually over-booked and you won't always get your car on time. But Roger does it right. He will tell you the right way to do it, and not the cheap way that will cost the customer in the long run. I worked beside him for several years and he is honest and kind. In fact he is too kind, I would never be as considerate as he is in the area of billing. He was reared in a extremely male domineering area of the country so the typical sexism prevails. Roger would never mean to hurt anyone. But he is stubborn. If only I lived closer to Roger, I would be able to take my car to him! Did I mention that he doesn't care for Chryslers and foreign cars? He just forced me to buy American :( That is what you get in South Dakota. And I think American Cars are great for that area, but foreign cars last longer in city driving.
