Shop owner has many years experience working for different Big Three auto dealerships before opening his own shop. Has a very good reputation locally and much repeated business. He is very cautious about making sure the job is done right -- even to the point of disapproving when I suggest short-cutting some things on my 200k+ vehicles! He has five work bays, three mechanics-- and few open slots in the schedule. Very highly recommended. People from a larger town 20 miles away drive to him for vehicle repair.

Briggs has fixed many of my cars over the years. He's not only ASE certified, he's an instructor and frequently is involved in training and retraining events. He's not the cheapest mechanic, but he is the best I've ever worked with. He's upfront about problems that require immediate attention and/or make the car unsafe to drive. He gives estimates before repairs and doesn't assume that customers are too stupid to understand the problems with their cars. I missed him when I moved away for a time, and I will miss him when I move away again.
