Dave is remarkably honest. He saved my daughter hundreds of dollars when she got a second opinion on some work that she needed done. He has always worked with me and told me what things need to be addressed immediately and what can wait until another time when I have the money. While it is somewhat out of my way to go to his shop, I will do so because I know I can trust him.

I was traveling I-90 on a road trip through South Dakota in my '99 VW Jetta last year when my alternator decided to stop charging the battery which led to each of my accessories to turn off one by one until the car shut down entirely. Its not a very good feeling being stranded on the side of the interstate, but luckily I had a jump pack with and managed to get to the nearest town, Chamberlain,SD. I've had car trouble on the road before and knew it wasn't going to be pretty. However, I was told by the guy at the parts store if anybody could help me it would be Joe's Automotive. He was right. Joe and his son dropped what they were doing to help me out and get me back on the road. The part I needed had to be ordered from the cities and would take a couple of days to get so they got to work repairing the original one. Before I knew it I was headed west to the mountains and after 9 states in 10 days made it home without any more problems. I recommend stopping in if your in the area.
