Norman Sherrod "Norm" is spectacular. He is extremly knowledgeable on German autos especially. I calle ahead, made an appointment and he pre-ordered parts for service on my Audi A8. The shop is out of the way, but worth the drive. I'll return happily whenever I'm in southern South Carolina area. Norm worked on Boeing jets, and it shows.

My wife son and I were travelling from Orlando, FL to Boston when our 91 VW Westfalia developed a coolant leak on I-95. We camped overnight nearby to weigh our options and decided to contact Norman from Teutonix in the morning. When called he said he was working on a job in the morning but he could take us in and work on it in the afternoon. We had our camper towed to him at 9AM and when we arrived he had the engine pulled from a VW Thing and was working on it. We asked if there was somewhere to eat nearby and he offered us his car to go eat! By the time we came back about an hour later he had the engine in the Thing and pulled it out of his one man shop. He pulled the camper in and quickly diagnosed the issue to a broken hose which he replaced right away. A part of the exhaust pipe also happened to break and withought hesitation he went on to fix it building the parts he needed from scratch! Price was reasonable and he's a friendly guy. I can't say enough about him. He saved our day! Too bad he isn't closer to Boston!
