Hundreds of miles from home, late in the afternoon, the transmission in my Olds Bravada went.Talk about being prime meat for buzzards! Limped to a Chevy dealer in Mauldin who recommended these guys, said they often did work for him. They immediately pinpointed the trouble ... probably because they had another Bravada on the lift next to mine, with the same problem. They removed and rebuilt the transmission and replaced the torque converter, and had me back on the road by the end of the next day. All for less than $1300. They also offered to take me to shoot pool, but decided against it to get my car fixed instead. Great guys!

These guys are extremely knowledgable and they will take all of the time in the world to share their knowledge with you. After the radical build of my race transmission failed to hold up, they gladly reworked the entire unit at no charge. The unit has performed flawless ever since. I have every confidence in their services.

Talk to them for the 1st time about my transmission. They told me what was wrong, I carried it back the next morning, they were finished at 3PM and a fair price

We took our intrepid to these guys and they said all we needed was a soliniod (?) pack. We liked that answer but took the car to a chain outfit (starts with 2 A's) They said we have to replace the tranny for about $1450. This is after they charged us $150. to check it out and clean the reverse vavles? Anyway, went back to see the brothers and sure enough, they fixed it RIGHT for less than 500. These guys will not stop till the problem is fixed! At one point we went to pick up our car and one of the brothers came out and said " I can't give you the car, it is not right. We close at 5:30 (on a Friday) but I will stay until I fix this problem. What do ya say? We said ..um OK...30 minutes later he called and said it was done. Runs better than it did when we bought it.

I had a problem with a solenoid pac on my Transmission and they repaired it.. well it started leaking, and they repaired it again, but this time they informed me that the brand thay were using wasn't up to their expectations, and install another brand at no charge... My warranty on the first repair was expired, but they still repaired it no questions asked... This shop has many repeat customers, and they stand behind their work, and I will recommend their services.

When (not if) your Dodge Caravan's transmission goes, take the vehicle to Advanced. They specialize in transmissions and because they do, they have the best prices in the area. When my van's transmission went, Advance was recommended by several friends, even by North Hills. I called Advance for an estimate and lead time. The estimate was solid for the worst case scenario, and the lead time was two days. Advance appears to keep rebuilt transmissions on the shelf that they can swap out. In my case they didn't have one on the shelf so they had to rebuild mine. It took an extra day for which they were very apologetic. About 3-4 months after the repair it was noted that some seals were leading. The repairs come with a 1 year warranty, so I took it back to Advance who checked it out, and made the necessary repairs at no cost. If you need transmission work I highly recommend Advance.

Monty, the owner, was very nice and explained all the possible problems with my 2001 Honda Odyssey's transmission. This is not a new vehicle to him as just about every 99-03 Odyssey transmission goes at some point! I dropped the vehicle off on Monday afternoon and they had it rebuilt by Wednesday morning! They also called a nearby rental car company and set up a daily rental at a great price for me. Monty and the lady at the front (didn't catch her name) were very personable and I actually enjoyed my time spent at the shop. Honestly, I hope I don't need to return, and that's Monty's thoughts as well! The warranty was set at 24 months or 24,000 miles - I may give them a call in about a year and a half just to see if they will check it out before that expires. I'm sure they will, judging by the pride they take in their work. Carmax of Greenville uses them - that's a pretty big testament to their work if you ask me.
