Jim Beam (yes, that's really his name) is the most honest mechanic I've ever dealt with. He'll take care of you. He's arranged towing in another city for me. He once told me NOT to pay him until I was sure the problem was taken care of. Good luck finding another mechanic who will do that for you! He's a good guy, very honest, and if he can't do something for you, he'll get it done for you and still charge you a reasonable price.

Jim and his mechanic on duty were extremely kind and helpful when my Subaru's check engine light came on, and I had a sputtering problem, as well. They told me I needed a tune up, and at 106,000 miles, I must say that the old gal was probably just slightly overdue.....:) I recommend Jim's service highly, though in another 2 months, you'll have to head to Anderson, instead of Greenville, to see him.
