My girlfriend and I both own Ford Probes. I just had the engine swapped in mine for a higher performance Mazda engine. I've been having problems with it using about a quart of oil every 500 miles or so. I believe it's the owner, Mike, that took a look at it and basically told me that I didn't need a compression test which would cost $50 or so to do.. he checked various things including vaccum hoses, etc. and basically told me exactly what was wrong with it and didn't charge me a dime. Very nice guy and great to do business with. Have taken the girlfriend's car there for about 5 or 6 different things. They did have a guy working there that apparently wasn't very bright and put the new battery cable connectors on poorly, but the next time we went over there he had been fired, and they fixed the problem right away. I definately will bring my business back to them.
