Jim put a factory rebuilt engine in my Ford Ranger. The whole story is too long to be worth recounting here. But the salient points are: 1) because of a decision on my part to just do the heads, he had to remove the engine a second time to replace the block, for which he charged me only $500 extra, 2) because of an error on Fords part, he had to remove the engine a third time because they sent the wrong block, Ford paid some - Jim ate some, 3) six months later there was oil seeping from one of the head gaskets, Jim admitted that the gaskets he prefers to use were not available at the time so he said "bring it in and we'll change the head gaskets" and never mentioned money, even though he knew I had moved away and would no longer be a customer. Jim is always smiling, never defensive, and just a great guy to deal with.
