My first experience with them was when my car died right at the intersection where their shop is. I don't remember the car that well, it was a Pontiac/Korean model that we inherited from my wife's grandparents, and I was idling at a stoplight when the car just died like someone had turned off a light switch. I was new to Pittsburgh, had no clue where to find a good mechanic, and I needed the car fixed right away. They were right across the street so I decided to take a chance and let them do the work. They helped me push the car into their shop, gave me a ride to the bus stop, and said they would look at it and have an answer for me when I came back at the end of the day. I was afraid it would be several hundred dollars for a new alternator or some other problem they could invent; instead, they charged me $30 for a short circuit and apologized for charging me that much. They had spent about 30-45 minutes checking the car and that's all they found. The car worked great and I found a great mechanic. I've taken all my cars there for the last 15 years and recommended them to all my friends. They are good, reliable people who are more interested in satisfying their customers than making a quick profit, and they stand by their work.

This shop is top notch. They do things right the first time. I am a female and am used to getting the runaround and high prices and fast talk from mechanics. When I go to this shop, I am dealing with the owners who work on things themselves. My car is 12 years old, so they separate out the "need to haves" from the "nice to haves" and let me choose what to do. They work long hours so I can get there after work to drop off or pick up. I was referred to them by a friend when my car broke down and it was a great find for me. I actually go out of my way to get to this place because it is worth it. They are sincere and explain things to me. On the survey, I didn't rate the question about if they respond well when they screw things up, because it hasn't happened to me with them. I like the fact that they have a secure fence around their lot so I know my car is safe at night. They are located at the base of Greenfield Avenue where it meets Second Avenue, so I can get a bus easily if I need to. Not far from Big Jim's and the bike trail. Would highly recommend.

They replaced brake hoses on my Camry. They are one of the few shops open on Saturday. They let me watch the entire time. They got the job done right the first time. They are able to solve problems when encountered. They told me a specific price before they started and stuck with that price when they finished. Take note, they are very busy on Saturdays, so make an appointment first.
