MJ Auto is actually within walking distance of my home. But my boyfriend who lives across town, and knows a lot about cars, takes his cars there and trusts them completely. Along with my 1998 Corolla, I also take my son's 1995 Saturn to them. Once, when the trunk wouldn't close, the owner, Mike, said the trunk had somehow been dented (he showed me) by the former owners of the car, and needed welding to fix it. He did this at no cost. When my Corolla was accidently scratched in his lot (it's always crowded for good reason), he took it to a body shop the next day. It's good as new, if not better. Mike rebuilt part of my boyfriend's Buick's engine, and it runs like new. He's not the cheapest (and shouldn't be) but he's way less than the dealership. He's honest, which is good since I don't know much about cars, and I have never had a problem with a repair.
