I have dealt with HiTech for many years, and have found them to be honest and straightforward in explaining what work needs to be done, if any. I would not take my car anywhere else.

I was pleasantly surprised by the honesty of this shop. My story: I was told by a mechanic at my dealer that my rear brakes wouldn't last for three more months and to bring the car in as soon as my inspection period started so that they could be replaced. Long story short, I went to these guys instead of my dealer, and even told them that the rear brakes were going to need replaced. Bottom line: they said that the brakes were only worn about 1/3 of the allowable wear and that there was no need to replace them. That was last December (2004). The brakes are still fine. They could have just replaced them and I wouldn't have questioned it. I have never had an experience like this at any auto repair shop.
