Frank and Bill have been a rare find. Not only do they do a good job, they do it fast. I can think of only one time over the years I did not get my car back the same day if I bring it over in the morning. I wouldn't say they were cheap, but what they charge is more than fair for what you get. All in all, I would recommend them to anyone.

Not only have i had great experiences with Frank and every one at the shop, but i have even overheard an out of towner singing their praises while waiting on line at a local (fairly famous) cheese shop. It seems that this woman's car broke down and 11th street repair was recomended by a local. She waxed poetic about how she felt rescued by them. End of story- her car was fixed and she arrived safely home. Anytime i have brought my car in for anything it has been quickly and accurately diagnosed and fixed within hours. One time after foolishly bringing the car to the dealer and being told by them that my electric system was broken adn that the repair wotuld cost over $200 bucks, i brought it to Frank for a check up and casually told him about the problem, he suggested that i might simply need a new key. Ten minutes and 2 dollars later- the problem was fixed. I have also simply hobbled in with a flat tire, frantic about being late, and it was fixed in minutes. I wasn't even late.

I have gone to this place for about 4 years and it was recommended to me. I had a life threatening illness last year and took my car in during the treatment period to have repairs done. Months later, in December, I got a call from the mechanic, just to wish me a healthy new year. These are the kind of people who work there. The prices have always been comparable to other garages and there have been many instances where a little thing here and there has been taken care of without charge at the time of a larger repair. Sorry I don't know all their specialties - I just know they are special enough for me.

I took my car here twice. The first time, the repair (and the cost) were minimal in an effort to save me some $$$. When that didn't work, they tried something else !for free!. In the end, satisfied that all the reasonable options had been exhausted, I (we) decided that the full-on repair wasn't worth it. These guys let me know exactly what was going on, answered all my stupid questions, and used their smarts to try and fix the problem without costing me an arm and a leg. I've never been so satisfied with a non-repair. I'll certainly go back for the next problem. They're fast too.

My interactions with Frank were pleasant - and my questions were patiently answered, especially since i don't know anything about cars. They were very timely and convenient. Frank also cans tomatoes and makes wine if you should have culinary AND automotive queries.

11th Street Auto Repair always does a spectacular job. Frank, Bill, Anthony and Marc are always pleasant and ready to work. May I also add that they have a friendly secretary, Colleen who you will probably always see with a shining smile. I love going to their shop because they always get the job done quickly and sucessfully. I would recommend this shop to anybody.

The owner William Sauer and family are remarkable. They not only take care of all our families vehicles. They truly take a personal interest in our family. We have been going to the auto shop for approx. 18 years and to see Bill's family all working together is a great thing. I recommend this shop to everyone!!!

These guys are what you hope for in neighborhood mechanics. They don't make repairs that you don't need, they explain what's happening with your car, they recommend lower cost solutions if applicable. They are extremely nice and will work within your timeframe if they can. I've never had a problem with them nor have I ever heard anyone else have problems. My car, however, that's another story! :)
