This is the only auto repair shop we trust. They take lots of time to explain everything being done. It is always done right. The prices are not cheap, but no higher than any other place. My wife is treated the same way that I am. If you want your car serviced at a place that will take the time to do the job right, this is the place to go. If you want to feel good about taking your car in for service, this is the place to go. Public transportation is resonably nearby. The neighbor hood is industrial and mostly OK, but kind of creepy after dark. However, we seldom have to be there after dark.

Very competent, very willing to discuss options with a customer. Often (perhaps a little too often) willing to talk a customer *out* of repairs they consider unnecessary. A little pricey if you go for maintenance, but quite reasonable for repair. Usually don't object to you providing your own parts. 3 blocks from El.
