Chris is wonderful. I bought a used VW which needed a new engine mount. I called 2 dealerships, neither of which could see me in under 3 weeks. Chris was able to fix it the next day, while I waited (I wasn't even late for work), and he charged me about $150 less than the dealership had quoted me. I have also gone to see him for other minor problems, such as a loose battery connection. I was told by the person who jumped me that I would definitely need a new battery, but Chris was able to tighten the connection and recommended I not buy a new battery- the one I have is fine. He also did not charge me. Basically, he is very honest and competant, and every time I drive away my car is running better than when I drove in. He was recommended to me by a friend who took her Jetta to him for 10 years, and I'm expecting to have mine just as long with him as my mechanic.

My 2006 VW is out of warranty so I needed to find a local mechanic to service my car. Didn't want to go to the dealer any longer. Needed an oil change. Got there at 7:10 AM and was out of there in a half hour. He topped off the fluids, checked my air pressure and alerted me that my rear brakes would need to be replaced soon. All-in-all a great experience. He was friendly and courteous and completed the job quickly so I could get to work on time. Will definitely return when I need my new brakes.
