Mike is one of the most qualified, fair, and honest mechanics around. He treats both male and female customers with respect and does top quality repair and maintenance work at reasonable prices. While dealerships charge hundreds of dollars to try to diagnose a problem or do scheduled maintenance, Mike does excellent work and charges "honest prices for honest work." He also takes the time to explain what maintenance or repairs need to be done or what needs to be done by a dealership. For example, I was having difficulty tryng to shift the automatic transmission selector lever from Park. Mike did some other maintenance work on the car; checked out the problem; informed me of the shift lock override button and then recommended that the dealership be consulted for this particular problem. He was right. When I returned home and consulted my owner's manual, the manual reiterated both suggestions about the override button and taking the car to the dealership to have it corrected. If there were a "Mechanic-of-the-Year" award, Mike would definitely deserve this honor.
