Had a new Ford Mustang, 2006, Legend Lime Metallic, manual transmission. Always wanted one when I was a kid, planned to get it painted like a race car. Took it there for routine maintenance, and issues I was having with the clutch. Got it back with scratch on front end, grill mesh knocked out of place from the car wash. Brought it to dealers attention, "No, our mechanic would have told us if they did this". Took it in for clutch issues. Picked car up, clutch went completely to the floor. Worse than when I brought it in. Mechanic ambled out, no particular hurry, said had to improvise tool to fix this, because Ford wouldn't supply the right tool. Got in it, power windows didn't work right. Called service manager, again, he said they weren't supposed to work that way. Insisted they were, service manager said they'd had to disconnect the battery, maybe they hadn't reset properly. Told me I "always had a problem" when I came there, suggested I go some place else for future care. Got rid of the car. Abysmal! Don't EVER go there! Didn't buy car from them. Dealer I did was disenfranchised by Ford, or would have continued to go there. Salesman at this dealer told me to stop by again, when I was ready to "pull the trigger". Didn't want to take time with me, which other dealer I got car from did. They actually got the car from Maryland, two people from the dealership drove down, one drove it back, and they dropped the charge I'd agreed to pay to have them get it from another dealer. They were great. Great sales staff, and service people. The mechanics actually showed me stuff in the bay, actually took me out there, allowed me to see what was going on. I was so sad when they closed. They were more like blue collar people, down to earth, honest, regular people, people I could relate to. The other place was like money, money, money. Nobody wanted to talk to you like a person.
