This garage was recommended to me when my fiancee's car was over heating. They took her car immediately, had it repaired in only 30 minutes and instead of only wanting to talk to me, they wanted to speak to the owner and describe what work was required, pricing and their guarantee of its repair in a timely fashion. Since then we have used them for all of our repairs and maintenance issues and they have proved themselves as dependable and have never over-charged or done any work that was not absolutely necessary. I would recommend them to anyone at anytime.

Address 500 S Henderson Rd. I recommend this shop because they have been great to work with long distance. My daughter is away at University, and twice they have treated her courteously, called me as she requested to discuss work needed, and then given me detailed report of the work performed. Obviously this is an opportunity to take advantage of us, because I can't even see the car. Doug was very honest and seemed to have no interest in doing unneeded work. The first occasion involved a repair we had done once before, so I knew what needed fixing and a fair price. They came in a little lower than what my trusted mechanic here in Maryland charged. The second time they spent some time checking out sounds and symptoms my daughter reported, then called me to say they could see nothing to fix at this point, checked all the safety issues, commended her for paying attention to the car, and then charged nothing for their time! 2 visits is not a large sample, but my experience does illustrate good character.

Perkins' repair shop has been a fixture in our town for a really really long time. I've never had a bad experience with them.
