A long story between me an the mechanic. I knew I needed new brakes so I called ahead and made an appointment in September. Dropped the car off at 9 am. He told me I needed new brakes and rotors. Came back at 2 pm to find out he couldn't find the parts. No fix or call. He told me he would look for the parts and then call me when he found them. After two weeks I called back and he hadn't found them. I started calling back every two weeks, no parts. Finally, in the middle of December I told him I had found the parts online and asked if I could buy them and bring them in. He said great. I wanted a Saturday appointment and the next he had was 4 weeks in the future. I said fine since with the holidays that made sense. I come in today at 9:15 - just after opening. He told me he was too busy and that I would have to come back. I reminded him that I had made an appointment. He got gruffy and said he might be able to fit me in. I said fine, I'll leave and reschedule. I had no ride and would just be killing time at the diner next door. He told me that he would fit me in next. I walked back about 1.5 hours later. My car was still outside with the old brakes. I didn't want to bother him since he was a bit gruff. Another 1.5 hours go by and I stop by and tell him I need to get home and would come back some other time. He told me the parts were wrong. I wish he had told me that when he learned of it. Or had found the parts himself. He was not friendly or helpful in any way.
