MY 90 MAZDA 626 NEEDED BALL JOINTS. I WAS TOLD BY OTHER MECHANICS THAT THE WHOLE CONTROL ARM HAD TO BE REPLACED. ROD DID SOME RESEARCH AND TOLD ME THAT WHAT OFTEN HAPPENS IS THAT WHEN REMOVING THE OLD BALL JOINTS, THE HOLE IN THE CONTROL ARM IS DISTORTED AND THE NEW BALL JOINT WILL NOT STAY IN. HE TOLD ME THAT HE COULD JUST REPLACE THE WHOLE THING OR HE WOULD TRY TO REPLACE JUST THE BALL JOINTS WITH NO GUARANTEE. I OF COURSE OPTED FOR THE CHEAP WAY OUT. WHEN MY WIFE PICKED UP THE CAR THAT AFTERNOON, HE SAID THAT IT IS A GOOD THING THAT HE HAS A LOT OF PATIENCE. IT TOOK HIM A LONG TIME BUT HE WAS SUCCESSFUL. I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS THAT HE SAVED ME.

Rod is so helpful to a young but retired lady NOT of independent means. He is fair and honest and cheap but very very thorough. Ya' just know you have the best guy who doesn't give me the old mechanics bull because I am a nieve woman! Peggy Puleo
