I've taken my car in several times (about 5) for oil changes, each time I tell him that I'm worried about a new noise I want them do listen for on the test drive, or that I want a little extra work done (shocks are loose, or I want the drive shaft lubed) they have never charged me for these extras, and have never said work neeed, other than tell me what signs to look for when whatever would need taking care of. Other garages in town I've been to (four others) invaribaly come up with new things I needed to pay for (new drain plug, or whatever), or other expensive repairs that needed doing right away (two said my clutch needed replacing, 20k miles later I'm still running fine on the old one (my first standard). Harold hasn't parted the red swa, but I trust the guy to look my car over and say what's what.

08 September 2007 These folks are skilled and persistent. Fixed an annoying squeak in my Mustang Cobra that the Ford dealer failed to find on multiple occasions, first time! Ditto with a rear window that was interfering with the convertible roof. The charges seem a bit steep, but I don't think anyone in this business is getting rich. I'll happily pay the freight when I'm getting quality service. Cheers!
