I had just moved to Portland and didn't have a mechanic. I walked into the office and heard the guy at the desk say "I checked the electrical system Mr. Smith and there's nothing wrong. Your battery is defective. You got it from Sears and it's still under warranty. If you can make it down here on your lunch hour I'll take you down to Sears and we can make an exchange - I'll put it in for you. No charge, we didn't fix anything. Needless to say Sho's has been my garage for the last 15 years. They have worked on my Caddie, my GMC Safari, and currently on my Ford E150.

I had the feeling that they took my car in immediately, on top of a heavy workload, because they knew (and explained) that the more I drove it the more trashed my brakes would be. Fixed it the same day, with time for me to spare.

Many times Rod has taken apart something on my pickup, only to tell me that there's nothing wrong, or it doesn't need repairing. He never charges for this. When there is a problem, Rod always calls first to talk to me about it, and to give an estimate. He has never charged more than the estimate. I've found the pricing to be fair.

Rod is honest and understanding. When facing a fairly expensive repair that would save or junk this car, he counseled without pushing and when I decided to have the work done, he came in under estimate and in a timely manner. I trust him with our vehicles.
