I had some damage on a plastic cover under the front of the car, and some pieces that hold on the frond bumper, of my 2003 Volkswagen Passat. The 1st two places I took it to for an estimate wanted >$1000 to basically replace the entire bumper and the plastic covers under the car. I went to Speeds last, and there the owner walked out with me to my car, and discussed various options in terms of replacing and reusing different parts. We agreed on a plan, and the next day I dropped of the car before work, they drove me to the train to get to work, and in the afternoon I got myself pack there and picked up the car. In the end it was ~$130 and it looks as good as new to me. Great experience.

Other family members have had Speed's work on their vehicles for years and have never had any problems. They were happy to rate needed repairs by priority and set up a plan to have various repairs done when they are needed.

I had a great experience with these guys. Earlier this fall an anonymous donor left me an impressive dent in a local parking lot. As we all do, I toured a number of local, well-respected body shops and secured bids. Several folks gave Speed excellent (as in highest possible) reviews on our local Angie's List, and so as a last stab before going to one of the other shops I stopped by and had them take a look. Their bid came in at the low end - though not the lowest - of my range of bids, and on the basis of their AL rankings I went with them. Couldn't have gone better. 1. Great first interview. Well explained, rational, reasonably priced. 2. Beat their timeline by a day. 3. Came in a few bucks under the bid. 4. Looks great. No trace of the damage, and can't tell where the repair begins and the unrepaired ends. I may hot be obsessive about my car's appearance but it's never dirty or unwashed, and I am impressed/delighted big time. Have recommended the shop to friends already. Great place. Explanatory note. I've never been a female when I went there, so don't claim first-hand experience in answering that question.
