Part 1 94 Volvo 850 No one likes to get stranded on vacation, but as much as that sucks the repair bill of a beach mechanic can really ruin your trip. That's why the panic set in when my coolant reservoir exploded and my car wouldn't go a quarter mile without pushing the temp. gage into the red. I was lucky enough to have a full charge on the cell and I called my mom for some quick research. I asked her to find the best shop in the neighborhood of Neotsu on this website. She recommended this shop (Glenndale Transmission Service) after reading the previous reviews. The AAA rig arrived and I asked the driver if he knew the place. "Yeah," he said "I know the place." His rueful tone made the hair on my neck stand up. "Some people think that guy's crazy" he continued. Needless to say I was curious. I trust my mother's opinion and more so her research skills but this guy was freaking me out. "What do you mean?" I asked. "He's always there..." "He's always there?" "Yeah, sometimes I'll drive by and he'll be there at two or three in the morning." Well, that really sold me. Though I momentarily flashed to Seinfeld's overprotective mechanic I want a guy or lady who cares about cars. I talked to Glen on the phone on the way to the shop. It was Saturday at 5:00.
