V.E. Tires replaced a ball joint in Dec. 04. Noticing an odd birdlike sound 7 months later, I brought it back. Their mechanic Mike was wonderful. Like a forensic doctor, he was determined to find the source. After a long process of elimination, he identified the problem as the same ball joint and that the unit was defective. Without a further word V.E. Tires told me they would replace the ball joint at no cost. This mechanic worked with a local machine shop to "pack" the ball joint and the machine shop couldn't get it right. Mike kept sending it back until the machine shop finally got it right. Once it was all done, he added in a wheel alignment. Mike gave me clear information all the way through. He treated me as an informed and intelligent customer. He was gracious, thorough and competent. I would trust him with anything.
