Since we drive old cars, a reliable repair shop is important to us. We've done a lot of business with Auto Tech over the last 15 years. John Houk (the owner) is almost painfully honest. More than once I've brought a vehicle in for something I thought was necessary, and John told me "I'll do it if you want, but you don't need it." On one particular occasion a newly-hired mechanic tried to pad our bill with an unneeded radiator flush. John found out, and gave the guy his walking papers on the spot. He then apologized to us that the guy had even mentioned it (i.e., the flush). 'Nuff said.

I have been bringing my truck to John (the owner) for several years and he has always done a good job. He is very good about letting you know about upcoming maintenance befor you have a problem. Very honest guy and has always returned my car the same day.
