John Cimino is the owner and mechanic. He is honest and only charges for the time he works your vehicle. His prices are very reasonable. I've had him work on my "wonderful" GM van and he does a great job. Only negatives... He's very busy, and it can take time for him to get to your vehicle. Also, he's kind of far out on Sunnyside road. Worth the drive!

I have used Sunnyside Automotive to provide both simply oil changes and for major jobs, including one engine rebuild. They have great prices and quick turn around times. They even work on diesels which is helpful to be able to take all my rigs to the same shop.

John is knowledgeable and competent but if you want your car worked on plan to leave it all day or overnight. He is super busy and does not really work the vehicles in the order they come in. How he decides what to work on next is a mystery. I trust his honesty but was a little disappointed that I had to leave my car for fourteen hours and then it was too late to get the parts he needed, (9:30 pm) and I had to bring it back again to have the job finished. My car was just in for a tune-up.
