I've used Mike's Automotive as my primary auto repair shop for more than 10 years. Mike is very honest and very laid back. He will not push you into having repairs made. He will not 'sell' you on parts or services you do not need. He will even tell you when his competition might be better suited to your particular problem. He once told me to check with WalMart for a better price on a battery. He has worked on my 1999 Toyota Camry, timing belt, Chevy Tahoe, 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee (a lot), 1999 Toyota 4Runner, and other cars. NOTE: I've always heard to look for a clean shop that doesn't have a lot of cars waiting for their owners to pick them up. Well, you have got to give Mike a pass on this one. It may be a good indicator of what to look for but in this instance it just doesn't apply to Mike's Automotive. Lonnie Daughtery's Stillwater Automotive is a similar excellent choice to take your car to in Stillwater, OK.
