My dad has used Freddies for years. He recommended I take my Mercury Mountaineer to them to get the rotors replaced. I did ,and I was satisfied with the price, because it was less than other quotes I got from another local shop. I noticed their shop is not fancy. I observed how they took care of other customers, and it was good. They took care of my problem, gave me an accurate quote over the phone, and did not try to do more work than I wanted. I paid what I expected to pay after talking to them over the phone. They were very accommodating and competent. The mechanic talked to me like a human being. I think this is because most of the guys working there have been there for a very long time, like in excess of 10 years. I will definitely be using them for my car in the future. (The public transit question does not apply to Oklahoma City- This is not the part of the country where anybody uses busses.)
