I took my older, beaten-down and rusty GMC in to get a water pump replaced. The rust caused the bolt to snap off when the old pump was taken out. The mechanic on duty at the time told me that the vehicle was a loss because he could not make a bolt to attach the new water pump. I was very upset as we did not have the resources to buy another vehicle, and this was my family's only transportation at the time. The older gentleman who I believe is the owner came in and made the bolt himself and installed the new water pump. I was grateful to him, but I am disappointed that the first mechanic would tell me to have the vehicle towed to a junkyard when it was able to be fixed, just not by him.

They have been keeping my old cars running for over 20 years. They have always been honest with me and taken care of our vehicles. Truly " good old boys " in the best sense of the words.

These guys have been working on my cars and other members of my family's cars for 20 years. They're honest; if you bring in a car with some dumb simple problem (not that *I* would ever have done that), they won't take you for a ride (okay, yeah, maybe they've had the opportunity to do that to me once or twice over the years -- and they never did it, so there). And if it's a big problem that's probably going to be more expensive to fix than the car is worth, they'll tell you that, too. I am enormously grateful for these guys.

They recommended another place to get some minor hail dents removed because the other place was 1)cheaper and 2)better.
