Mr. Wallace run's his garage with his wife, Kathy. The first encounter with the business was when I was getting my '93 Honda Accord ready for sale. Mr. wallace explained to me the things that should be fixed and those that could wait but should be told to the next buyer. Approximately four months later, I took my '95 Toyota T-100 truck in for reg. maintenance. Mr. Wallace did only what was per the owner's manual. I have not experienced any high pressure sales for unneccessary or unwanted service. Each time I have been to the garage, the work area is clean and orderly. This is a family owned business. It is obvious to me that the Wallace family does what they can to keep a faithful clientel. Additional information can be found in a current issue of The Shepherd's Guide.

I've had several repairs on at least 3 cars and they seemed honest and fairly priced.

New to the area, it was difficult to find a mechanic I could trust to work on my vehicle. Central Garage came highly recommended from both here and other review sites, so I took a chance. They not only corrected issues, but warned me about others and talked me out of a few services I didn't need. Their goal seems more about doing right by the customer and less about making money -- which has turned them into my regular mechanic. They're not the most convenient - they're about 30 minutes away and their hours are not working man favorable - but they have earned my trust and business.
